We have produced a range of candles, designed to be both kind to the environment and your body.

These candles are made with pure essential oils and soya wax. No paraffin wax, pure cotton metal free wicks, no artificial scents and no artificial colours. Now as well as saving your skin with SOS Balm® we are here to Save Our Senses with SOS candles!

Not only can normal candles be toxic to the environment, but they can be toxic to your body too. With SOS's range of candles, made only with pure essential oils and soya wax, you can be happy that your home is filled with pure aromatherapy and no nasties.

Our candles are completely eco friendly, sustainable and kind to the environment. We've gone totally green with our candles, we use sustainable packaging, grown from plants, that can be composted. Our box sleeves are made from seeded paper, so you can lay them in the garden when you are done and watch them break down and grow into wild flowers! Our candle glasses can be recycled as glasses or pots to store make-up or paint brushes, stationary or whatever you desire! All paper packaging is ethically sourced and can be recycled.

Burning Instructions

Soya wax has a memory, to ensure a clean even burn, your first burn should be for at least an hour or until there is an even pool of melted wax on the surface to prevent tunnelling.

Our candles have approx. 45 hours burn time.

Essential oil candles mature over time. It is best to keep a lid on to preserve the scent which will be available separately.

Always follow safety instructions, never leave a candle unattended. Take caution when burning essential oils around pets as many can be toxic to animals.

How To Recycle Your Packaging

Cruelty-free and biodegradable, our protective packaging breaks down in just 40 days and is home compostable in your food waste bin or makes the perfect fertilizer for a wildflower pot. With mushroom & plant matter packaging, you'll leave nothing behind but a greener conscience.

The printed packaging sleeve is seeded paper. Made from 100% cotton waste & has wildflower seeds inside to be planted! 1. Soak the card in water 2. Fill a pot with compost. Tear up the card and place on top then cover with a little compost. 3. Give the card and soil a good water. Keep the card damp and water regularly. 4. put somewhere warm and sunny, best planted in the spring as they are great pollinators! Takes up to 8 weeks to germinate. Plant out when ready.
